FLORIDA WORKERS’ COMPENSATION LAW
I’m attorney Joseph Rooth. Since 1994, I’ve helped injured and disabled workers obtain the benefits they deserve from workers’ compensation and Social Security disability. Workers’ compensation provides medical and wage replacement benefits for people who suffer a work-related injury. Social Security disability provides benefits for people who have severe impairments that prevent them from working for a year or longer, whether those impairments are work-related or not.

ROOTH LAW FIRM PRACTICE AREAS
Have you been injured in an accident at work? Are you unable to work because of a disability? At the Rooth Law Firm in New Port Richey, Florida, I understand the challenges you face.
The vast majority of people I represent have worked hard all of their lives. Then, as the result of an accident or illness, they are temporarily or permanently disabled. Suddenly they are unable to do the work they have done every day. Most of my clients had never even seen the inside of a lawyer’s office before. It was only after their request for workers’ compensation or Social Security disability benefits was denied that they sought legal help.
I represent injured and disabled workers on a contingency fee basis. This means that I never charge up-front attorney fees. I charge no fees at all unless and until I am successful in obtaining benefits for my clients. That shows how much confidence I have in my ability to get you the benefits you deserve.
I have focused my law practice on helping injured and disabled workers. It’s what I do, and it’s all I do. Workers compensation and Social Security disability are complex areas of law, and I believe that focusing my practice helps me provide higher-quality services for my clients.
